HELP CINDY WALK AGAIN

HER STORY…

Last June, my Mum Cindy’s life changed forever. She suffered a drowning accident that left her with a severe brain injury. In those first few days, we were told to prepare for the worst. The fact that she even survived is nothing short of a miracle.

At first, Mum couldn’t see, couldn’t speak, and couldn’t move her body at all. But if you know Cindy, you’ll know she’s a fighter. Against all odds, she has clawed her way back step by step, proving doctors and expectations wrong at every stage.

Over the past year, she has:
Regained her vision
Found her voice again
Taken her very first steps since the accident

These are huge milestones, but we’ve now reached a point where progress is limited without specialist support. Professional physiotherapy sessions and access to specialised equipment could be life-changing — helping Mum rebuild her strength, improve her motor function, and ultimately walk again.

We are doing everything we can as a family, but the costs are overwhelming. That’s why we are asking for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards Mum’s rehabilitation and give her the best possible chance of regaining independence.

To see her walk again would transform her quality of life in ways words can’t capture. She’s already come so far, and with the right help, we believe she can go even further.

To raise awareness for her, I'm going to be climbing 8,848m (the height of Mount Everest) worth of rock and ice, and hopefully, for every meter I climb, we can raise £1.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting Mum’s journey.
